A Diagonal Dotticure Mani

ChG For Audrey. So many people raved and raved about this color so I decided well, it must be a good one. Nope. It gives me lobster hands like crazy and to be honest, the color is a bit "bleh" to me. I guess it became popular because it is the exact color of "Tiffany & Co". I bought it last year, swatched it once and basically set it aside to collect dust. I decided to dig it out of my stash yesterday to give it another try so to speak and see if I can find a way to love it.

I didn't love it at all and actually lost any inspiration I had once I saw it on my nails. Ick

This mani actually started off as a newspaper mani, but I couldn't get the print to transfer onto my nails so instead of removing my polish for the millionth time, I decided to just go with it and, out of boredom, I created this: A diagonal dotticure! :)

I can't stand ChG For Audrey by itself, but I really like it paired with another color like this one by Pure Ice called, 'Kiss Me Here'. Thankfully I was able to save this train wreck of a mani, because I thought my fingers were going to dry up and fall off if I had to remove my polish one more time with that acetone.

Peek A Boo I See Blue.

Hi guys. I've been on a crazy mattifying mission lately where no matter what, I want to matte every manicure.  So here is todays mani; ChG Frostbite with Matte Magic ontop. The pictures really do not do this color justice. The intensity of this color is awesome and looks so cool matte.

I love more than anything, creating an accent nail. Love it. I get so much grief from my husband when I do it. He doesn't understand why I wouldn't want all my nails to match. LOL. I tell him, "It's a good thing it's not YOUR mani huh!?" Anyways, so I love accent nails and really am not content with any mani I do unless it has one. So, I added an accent nail. It's hard to see in pictures, but the effects of the matte blue peeking through the shiny black looks so awesome! I am really happy with the way this turned out.

Strawberry Dip N' Dots Mani

Yum, this mani instantly reminded me of the ever so delicious, Dip N Dots! The strawberry flavor! I haven't had those since High School! I started off this mani with two coats of Essie Style Berry (which I scored for $2).

..and then I created the plethora of dots using my dotting tool! I love this! It's kind of hard to tell, but I used three different shades of pinks for the dots; a light pink, a medium pink and a neon pink. I really like how this mani turned out!

Stella is Sparkle-Icious

As I spent a majority of my day today scouring all the local Sallys and Empires for any polish from the CG OMG collection, I stumbled upon these beauties; CG- Stella and OPI- Sparkle-icious. I couldn't help but begin singing in my head, "Sparkle-icious" to the tune of Fergie's song, "Fergalicious".  Haha.

This is two coats of Stella with Seche Vite ontop. So pretty all on it's own, but I wanted more.

..so I added two coats of 'Sparkle-icious' and another coat of Seche Vite.

..and just because, here's a blurry picture to show just how 'sparkle-icious' this polish really is! I love this polish cocktail!

I've got the blues, but I'm not complaining!

I'm definitely loving this case of the blues. I've had a hard time in the past finding a true dark blue that wasn't too "black" looking. I nailed it (lol, get it!?) with this one! This is with two coats of Pure Ice- All Night Long, but really, one coat would have been sufficient. And, the top coat I used was Seche Vite.

I got this diagonal design idea from the wonerful and very talented, Chloe's Nails so I thought I'd give it a go. For the diagonal, I used China Glaze, Meteor Shower. These two colors are so close in color (minus the obvious glitter in one) so the design was very subtle, which I really liked.

I'm A Blogger Noob.

Here it is; the blog I've been wanting to make for quite some time now. I follow so many fellow polish lover's blogs, that I decided it's time I join in on the fun. Not to mention, I'm sure my friends over there on Facebook are tired of seeing my manicure pictures that I post relentlessly! :) So this is it. My own little outlet to delve on the things I love; nail polish and all things girly. I'm excited!
